š°Need a Fresh Start?
Hereās Your Daily Reset Button
Hey Awesome Friend!
Let's dive in!
22 Because of the Lordās great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
24 I say to myself, āThe Lord is my portion;
therefore I will wait for him.ā
25 The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him,
to the one who seeks him;
26 it is good to wait quietly
for the salvation of the Lord.
27 It is good for a man to bear the yoke
while he is young.
Insights:
Here, Jeremiah is having a rough time, but heās holding onto a big truth: Godās love and mercy are endless.
Every single morning brings a fresh batch of Godās faithfulness. Jeremiah reminds himself (and us) that God is our portion, our ultimate treasure.
Waiting on God might not be fun, but itās worth it. Patience and seeking God are key.
Reflection:
We all have those days when everything feels like itās falling apart. Maybe your alarm didnāt go off, you spilled coffee on your shirt or laptop, and your boss decided todayās the day to give you extra work. š¢
Itās easy to feel overwhelmed. But Lamentations tells us something amazing: Godās love and mercy hit the reset button every morning. Imagine waking up to a fresh start with God every day. Sounds pretty awesome, right?
Challenge:
So hereās the dealā¦
In our fast-paced world, waiting quietly for anything seems impossible. But Jeremiah is onto something.
Instead of rushing or trying to fix everything ourselves, what if we paused and trusted Godās timing? š°
Next time youāre stuck in traffic or dealing with a tough situation, take a deep breath and remember: Godās got this. His love and mercy are new every morning, and Heās got a perfect plan for you.
Application:
Alright, letās make this practical awesome friend.
Start your day by acknowledging Godās fresh mercies.
Take a moment to thank Him for His faithfulness. š
When challenges pop up, instead of stressing, remind yourself that God is your portion.
Practice waiting on Him by setting aside a few minutes each day for quiet reflection or prayer. Trust that Godās got a plan, even when things arenāt going your way.
Reflection Questions:
How can I remind myself of Godās new mercies each morning?
What situations in my life do I need to trust Godās timing with?
How can I practice waiting on God in a practical way?
Feel free to discuss with a friend.
Prayer:
Lord, thank you for your never-ending love and mercy. Help me to start each day with gratitude for your faithfulness. Teach me to trust your timing and to wait quietly for your salvation. Be my portion and my hope in every situation. Amen.
Remember, no matter how messy life gets, Godās mercies are new every morning. Embrace each day with hope and trust in His endless love.
AI COMMERCIAL BREAK!
Okay sureā¦ But do you think 7 clocks are enough to watch while waiting? š³
